A shoot out at Ft Hood in Texas left 7 people dead and 12 wounded. One gunman has been “neutralized” and the other “cornered” said Lt. Gen Russel Honore, former deputy commander at Ft. Hood.
It appears that the shooters and the victims are U.S. military personnel. The base and local schools are on lockdown. The shooting took place about 30 minute before a graduation of some kind was about to take place.
Ft. Hood, near Waco Texas, houses nearly 100,000 individuals and is the largest military installation in the world.
