This straight forward secret passage incorporates a swing-out bookcase. One individual set of shelves uses hinges to swing outward and reveal a hidden passage. The other two bookcases remain stationary in the wall.
The video is tilted sideways, but this secret bookcase door slides straight back into a small room. They use some type of hanger/slides at the top of the bookcase. This gives me some ideas.
