Secret Bookcase Raises from Floor
This custom bookcase lives in the basement and is completely hidden from view at most times. The top of the case is covered with a piece of the flooring so it blends in with the floor.
Upon pulling a lever on the wall in the gallery, however, it automatically raises from the floor. We’re not sure exactly the purpose or the mechanics of this setup, but the concept could be used for a number of applications. Check out the video of the bookcase in action below.
